What a massive oversight left when developing Hardcore mode, it hits even harder when you mod New Vegas to have harsher FOD/H20 drain and actually coherent SLP management. It was quite hidden on the internet, but thank you so much for making this mod!!!
This is very useful. I only recently discovered that needs are altered by your timescale setting. With this I can turn down the timescale setting without my needs skyrocketing while sleeping. I find half works good for anything as low as a timescale of 6. It's also fortunate that this script seems to run before the game checks your needs, meaning waking up after enough hours that would normally kill you now doesn't.
I went to sleep whilst I had some food currently healing me and I woke up with way less health than I had before. It's never happened before installing this mod. It's only happened once, though, and it's worked perfectly fine otherwise. Thanks.
This mod doesn't touch anything besides restoring some of your primary needs. That was probably a consequence of a buff running out, or another change on stats.
Do you know if this would be compatible with DUST?
Like it would keep DUST's high Food/H20/Sleep needs, but reduce the rate by 25%/50% while sleeping? I really like DUST, but every time you sleep in DUST you wake up nearly dying of H20.

Set Amount to 3600 / (GetGameSetting fHCDehydrationRate * TimeScale) * 0.50
Player.RestoreAV Dehydration Amount
Set Amount to 3600 / (GetGameSetting fHCStarvationRate * TimeScale) * 0.50
Player.RestoreAV Hunger Amount
If the custom rates are updating the HC game settings.
