I have to admit, I do love these sound effects more than the regular ones that are bundled. They not only sound more quiet, which the original ones sounded like they were close to being nails on the chalkboard, but they also sound more in tune with opening and closing doors as well as the engine of a truck running. If it weren't for how terrible the sound effects for the original mod is, I'd say a no contest. Either way, nicely done effects, thanks for adding them.
I don't personally use XRE Cars, but listening to the audio files in the mod, all the engine sound effects are of a decent quality already. I don't think I could improve on them. Sorry.

You're a lifesaver! The original mod is great, but those sounds make my ears sad, even with the quieter sounds mod. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this.
