This is legit one of the best mods of all time and part of my "required for any playthrough" list

the way it gets subtlety softer near the edges, it goes really well with my auto hud color changer for ttw, thanks, endorsed :)

This is just what I wanted. I'm an iron sight guy myself, but taking the crosshair out just makes it a little harder to select and visualize loot. This is the solution. Marvelous.

Thanks for your work, it's simple, but convenient and aesthetic!
I have one question: is it possible to visualize the interaction?

I'm not really sure what you mean by "visualize the interaction".

i'd imagine he means to make it change up on interact prompt coming into range, or similar

      JoshKillin, hello!
I am the author of this post. I lost my mailbox with this account.
I didn't know what you answered me and did the interaction I asked about!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH! You are great!

    Hey there! :)

Could you make it play along with UIO - User Interface Organizer?
    I would really appreciate it.

<_HUDCrosshair_X> and <_HUDCrosshair_Y> in DUINVSettings.xml don't seem to change the crosshair's position for me, and I just discovered that it was off center with my HUDscale set to 80 so I'm trying to find a way to adjust it.

Do these settings actually work for anyone else and is there any other way to reposition the crosshair?

I have user interface organizer installed for loot menu, so maybe that has something to do with it?

Edit: Fixed- anyone with the same issue should look in \menus\prefabs\darn\hudtemplates.xml and change the X and Y values for <template name="template_reticle_center">

    Thanks for the mod!

Hello Mod Author! So I have Vanilla HD HUD installed and I wanted to install your mod on top of it but they don't seem to be compatible since they change the same .dds file. Is there anything I can do to make the two work together?

I just looked at Vanilla HD HUD, and in the files it has an option for "minimalist crosshair dot", maybe that's what you're looking for.

Otherwise, no, I can't patch this to work with other mods. (Though it does work wonderfully with DarNified UI.)

Huh. I didn't notice that Vanilla HD HUD had that as an option. I guess that's what happens when you go on modding New Vegas at 3 in the morning. Anyway, thanks for the info Mod Author. Endorsed.

just found this, searching for the same, after failing to find something similar the first time i modded up NV. happy i found this before my new game. side note: i almost missed this when searching within Nexus, all the other cross-hairs seem to be in the "User Interface" mods section, so it might be a better fit there so it can be seen alongside the other cross-hair mods. just a suggestion, could be off-base.

It might be a problem with a HUD mod you are using or something, because that is not the normal behavior for this mod. "Simple dot crosshair" is only a texture replacer, and in the normal game your crosshair does not only appear when unarmed.
