Well the shack pretty much is. I mean it was the best place to put the shack that was in the closest location to Primm with out effecting anything etc. However I could replace one of the ruined house for a functional house (Only thought of this idea now). But yes I might make a house where the other houses are in Primm
Who says the Courier wouldn't want to set up shop there? There's nothing in the mod implying that the Courier stayed in Primm permanently rather than getting to the Battle of Hoover Dam.
I will be making different mods for different settlements so if you wanted to settle you PC down there you could if not its just a shack I guess. I do feel like it would be a good place to stop if you was't that much of a fan of god springs and it also has the casino there. People playing hardcore don't really have anywhere to sleep other than in the bison Steve witch is well run down etc
Simple, functional, and sensible player housing for early in the game. Nice work.
I have some suggestions, although they are based on personal preference rather than necessity: 1. Require some sort of small barrier to entry for getting the house. An average lock, having to buy it for a couple hundred caps from an NPC, etc. 2. Give it some minor upgrade capabilities - pay some caps to have crafting stations installed, or find scraps to build them yourself with a skill check, for example. 3. A set of stairs would make that an awesome spot to snipe the raiders down the road, but navmeshing may be a pain, so just an idea!
I will look into puting a lock on the door or having to earn it some way so it make sense in a future update. The other two points I'm not too sure about as I will be moving onto other mods but we will see.
