True. I didn't wanna update for every JIP update, but waited until there were enough new functions to do it as a batch. Adding the occasional function as a new keyword is easy enough, but packing it up, uploading, altering the log and description... it's a drag for something so small.
Eh, the styles are obviously not everybody's cuppa joe. I prefer to have things jump out at me a bit more.
The problem I foresee with hosting differently styled versions though is that it's impossible to cover everyone's preferences, not just in what fonts/colours etc are applied, but also whether or not to use different styles for functions from different plugins. And considering how uploading even such small files can take several minutes to complete, it'd make updating more of a drag for me.
The best way of handling this is imo that you change the styles to your own liking in the 'define your language' menu in NP++, which is easy to do. Then when an update is available adding more functions, export your previous language to xml and copy-paste the part that is between the <styles> and </styles> tags at the end of the file.
