hi there, i had a question regarding the order of songs.
specifically, the radio doesn't actually play all 30 songs, it's only about 5-6 in random order. i've checked, they're all wav files in the correct kz and bit, yet it seems like the radio skips most of the songs? i've even opened up the console and i can see it saying stuff like (each line is one after the other): "Playing 2", "Playing 17", "Playing 21", "Playing 5", before it settles on a song that it, i guess, decides to play? is this just poor RNG on my part considering that it's a shuffle of my playlist, or is it a bug?
What must I change in this mod so i could publish my own radio? I already got my radio working with my songs, so tell me what to change and how to change so I can publish my own radio mod. I will mention your contribution and the original mod on the nexus page that will come.
My songs work but they're are really quiet. I played them on my computer and they sounded loud enough. If I try to make them louder in Audacity they end up clipping. Also, I just want the music in my Pippy and not in the Westland or anything. I'm not sure if there's something I did wrong.
I love the idea of this mod and would really like to be using it, but I keep getting crashes to desktop with the following errors or similar ones:
Audio: Could not open file Data\Sound\Voice\XoanonBuildYourOwnRadioStation.esp\MaleAdult02\XoanonBuil_RadioHello
I am also getting errors like:
FalloutAudioMedia: file format wrong data\sound\songs\xoanonbuildyourown\song12.wav FalloutAudioMedia: file format wrong data\sound\songs\xoanonbuildyourown\song08.wav
But I assume that's something wrong with the method I used to convert all my mp3s into 16bit mono.
Yes, you can convert any audio file into a mono wav and have it play in-game. Just make sure that the file is exported in 44100 hz and 16-bit. If you're playing multiple long tracks back-to-back then put a few seconds of silence in the beginning if necessary, otherwise it will desync a bit when transitioning.
Will the playback of the mod fix the Slowdown that converting audio to 44100kh bitrate produces? I'm manually converting songs in audacity and adding my own effects to keep them similar sounding to the other songs that play on the radio.

Try checking the in-depth help section in the info. it won't be straightforward, but you could probably gleam the answer by working through it.
