I've noticed that to keep my game from crashing, I had to disable the vertical scroll hotkeys. It would work for a while, but then randomly stop working and then my game would crash. Since disabling those, haven't had any issues.
So I am having a weird issue with this mod. Ironically enough it won't let me modify weapons. It'll pull up the menu and display that I have the modifications, but when I press them they will either not do anything but make the taping noise, or rarely it will consume the modifcation without changing it, and even more rarely it just straight up crashes the game. I use viva new vegas for reference so I don't know if there's some sort of conflict, but disabling this mod lets me use stuff by default.
Mind you I can just disable the mod, load the game, do my modifications, and then close, re-enable, and restart. But that's kind of a pain. I only saw one mention in the MGM settings of the crafting menu and that's to exit the menu, which I deleted, and this did not fix the issue.
I have the crash problem when modding weapons and remaping the exit mod menu key didn't stopped crashes from occuring (you hve to try to mod it two times to crash when remapping). Also, still can't apply the mod to the weapon even after remapping. I think I will have to drop this mod :(
this is not working for me. tryna start with nvse_loader.exe. game starts so i can play but no one from mod hotkeys not working game version 1.4.0.525 xnvse 6.3.4 jip ln 57.21
If you fix or disable the "S" does place marker, show location, and show active quest notes bug in the data menu of the pipboy, I will paypal/patreon you $20. Since A and S are meant to be used for scroll up and scroll down it's rather annoying when trying to scroll in the data tab.
you can delete a keybind in keyboy MCM using the "Del" key when assigning a new key for any action, i personally delete and disable all they keybinds in Keyboy MCM and only assign the keys i want to use, to avoid conflicts.
FYI: For those having the crashing issue when attaching weapon mods: Remap the weapon mod menu exit key to something other than the 'E' key (e.g. 'X'). This stopped the CTDs for me.

VUI+ has keybind rebind options editable via notepad, and you can use lstewieal's WASD compatibility mod for WASD navigation
could you make one like this for fallout 3?
