this a mod works? i couldnt not find the gun anywhere. edit: it works, the gun cabinet is outside Goodspring General Store, in the same wall of those Wrench and Ammo tables.
Weapon itself works fine, and is a perfect starting firearm, but there are some problems overall. As loot, they always spawn in batches of ten, which means you'll get 60 more pounds to carry on top of the regular stuff (can be easily countered with a "player.modav carryweight" command, but still). They are always in mint condition, which helps with money issues. Using one gun will obfuscate all the rest in the inventory; applying mods on any given piece will revert it to the default service rifle model (silencer and scope will still work).
Really like the idea behind this mod, my only suggestion would be to change the color to maybe black or the standard service rifle texture. great mod otherwise. endorsed.
Cool, mods that take existing in game weapons and make a variant of them are the best. Really preserves the feel of the game. Thanks for making this. If I can make a request. I would like a service rifle with that scope as it is now , minus the suppressor (id rather not have one)and extend Stanag (banana clip like on assault carbine)magazine in original wood finish.. No mods or anything just a straight up weapon nothing fancy
