If i may suggest something maybe you could make an entrance close to the I-15 gate in the outpost realistically that would be the road going to LA and i think being there it would fit better
At the moment, I'm still adding NPCs. It's just myself working on it as the other guy I was working with stood me up. I'm having to do the NPCs, quests and scripting all by myself. I won't do a CDPR and rush it to be released unfinished, it will be ready when it's ready. Once it is done, I would be very happy to be give it compatibility with Frontier, TTW and New California. That would be pretty awesome.
Certainly. I will talk you though my work so far. 1. Added NPCs to most major settlements and places. They're silent, and some of them have quests. As of yet I'm still learning how to add dialogue and quest activators. 2. Added various easter eggs from pop culture featured in LA including games, movies, TV shows and music. 3. Currently adding a survival mini-game around the area of the trenches [I forget the name of the place]. Other misc challenges will be added in the near future. 4. Currently working on the old subways. If you do venture down there, bring a torch...and an automatic weapon. You'll need it. 5. The grand plan will be the main quest, "The Battle For Los Angeles." where the courier chooses to side with either the Brotherhood or the NCR. This will also involve an espionage quest in the form of Metal Gear Solid. Any ideas you may have would be welcomed, and I will happily include them in the mod.
I apologise for the wait, ,but I'm working on it as and when I can. With a full time job and a daughter to look after, my time is restricted. Thank you for patience.
As a mod maker yourself, I was hoping you would have a little more understanding about how time consuming it is modding. This a full scale DLC size map and it's a hell of a task for one person to do all by themselves. It took Bethesda four years to make Fallout 4 and they had a full team to work on it. Now, try to imagine just one person doing all that work. You've mad two small mods, you have no idea of the scale of this task I am undertaking.
You should make a discord for this project! You could post some progress screenshots every couple weeks. The server would help get people to know about it in the first place, and also help them to remember that the project exists even months after finding out about it. People might offer to help you too. You could set up a patreon page.
Really excited to see what comes of this. Huge respect.
Don't let people get you down. I'm intrigued by this mod and what you mentioned your working on. I am looking forward to what comes next and I don't mind the wait personally
It doesn't look totally finished but the environments look very promising im sorry your partner stood you up he was a asshole for abandoning you like that. I hope you manage to finish it or at least get some help to make it sparkle and shine :)
I actually know the answer to that... it's a design error that I can't fix. I forgot to set the LOD and static ground to 10,000 before designing the terrain, and instead started laying out the city at 200 I think. Sadly, I didn't know it at the time, but water LOD rendering is s#*! unless you set the Terrain LOD to 10,000 starting out. Its some sort of wonky bug in the NV-GECK. The only practical solution is to take all of the static objects and convert them SCOLS. Then raise the terrain to 10,000 units. Then move everything up, and resculpt the terrain by hand.
I was doing some "House Cleaning" on some files and decided to look into some issues with mod today. At first, I thought that the new archive was simple broke. Honestly, I had kinda given up trying to make this work. However, after a few moments sifting through some stuff I figured out the problem. Give me a day and I should have this fixed. The Esp contained in the latest download is actually the 2008 variant with a whole lot of broke ass assets which are no longer in the mod. I'll package everything up and try posting a final version tomorrow. It's not really a priority because I know most people have firmly moved on to Fallout 4 by now. Still... kinda want to close this chapter on my life.

This is too beautiful to be wasted and take your time at least.
