If you open the GECK do you know how to find a ref ID just like that?
Do you know by mind all the editor edits/names for the companions?
Do you know each cell ref where they are?
Well I don't know by mind all of that and sometimes spend quite sometime looking for it...so...I thought it could be useful for others...to have it in a list...
Also when scripting and having to use the companionREF instead of having to search in the cell where they are you can just copy and paste from this list.
Plus...opening all fallout3 and NV DLCs + TTW is not so easy in the GECK...it's minimum 7 master files at once when programming for TTW.
Yeah, actually. You open all your mods, open the NPC list, arrange them alphabetically, and scroll down to the name of the companion. GECK even dynamically displays the reference ID based on what it would be in your full load order.
Looks like you answer while I was editing my answer so maybe you didn't get the last edit...
Pasting.....

But I don't know all the names by mind...so if for example you are editing the Followers Quest/Script where you have to refer them all + eventually new addictions from other mods...things get a bit complicated. I find it easy this way...

I hope I can get TTW working again /is broken for some strange reason)so I can update the list.
