Hello you,
This mod is just because I felt that there should have been a Factionless Safehouse. 
As in a safehouse that was truly the players and felt more personal.
A safehouse which also has no quests to obtain (for now).
This mod was made to be one you could just add and forget.
I wanted it to feel like it was part of fallout and not modded in.

It is fully Navmeshed so it should be Companion Friendly. Had to do that twice after geck crashed saving the first one.
I'm Not Asking For Any Endorsements, this is my first mod and I really do just want to have your Feedback.
But Endorse if you want to.. I didnt expect anyone to endorse it or even download it :) Really big thanks to those that do even comment :)
Comment on what you didn't like and what you would prefer. Just remember this safehouse is supposed to be Lore Friendly.
It is not intended to be this overpowered, cheaty feeling safehouse. It still has all the facilities other safe-houses have:
  • crafting bench
  • reloading bench
  • water source
  • bed (well rested bonus)
  • safe storage containers
  • shelving
  • NPC + now voiced and offers repair
  • Raider Theme
  • Brotherhood of Steel Theme
  • Enclave Theme
  • Original Theme

I have restored an originally cut piece of content from the game within the safe-house and a unique armor piece.

The location of this safe-house is hidden from here. It is in the zipped file along with the read-me and mod. 
It is also now in the posts section. It should not be hard to find anyway. It also has a Map Marker.

Close by to Repconn Headquarters at the three buildings clustered together. Check your local map for help to find the door if needs be.


And now also for those who wish to consider it a mod and see all of it before they download, or don't want it as a mock original fallout safehouse.. Take in mind this video is outdated and lacks the showcase of the themes :) I will show only bits of the themes in pictures.

And now as of version 1.2.. Meet Clink the Maintenance Robot, a Mr Handy, who is this safe-houses NPC :) He is created using original files so now their is no longer any tacky voice acting. His conversation is very limited for the moment however.
Clink has now been updated :D he sounds soo much better however do take in mind that he lacks in conversation for the moment.. However I feel he is no longer "Anti-lore" :D 

The images shown here do not show the safe-house in full. If anyone else wants to they can upload their images.
I wanted this mod to be one you just downloaded and seen what it was like, rather than seeing every inch of it before you even downloaded it. 

Themes are on there way to REPCONN Safehouse so it will soon be your personal choice on what you like the look of. I am trying to make as many themes as possible. For now there is Raider, Brotherhood of Steel and Enclave.. I am planning Enclave (added) , Pre-War, NCR and.. Ceasors Legion (ugh).. Not sure what else as of yet :) 




Want Anything Added Or Removed? Just post it here as a comment and I will tell you if i can/will do that :) It can be anything from more/less containers, more/less shelves, smaller/bigger rooms.. anything, just tell me in detail what you want.

Help Me Decide On a Suitable NPC?        I have not added a NPC for repairing like other safehouses yet because im not sure what would be suitable. Tell me what the NPC should be. I want it to be lore friendly and still give the player the feeling its still their personal safe-house. I am still open to suggestions on another NPC if people want one.

Got Any Ideas For a Quest?Comment and tell me as I am now considering adding a quest. Maybe one to change Clink to a companion? A quest has been suggested for making it more difficult to gain access to the bunker. It will be part of every update when I have it working but there will also be the option for the normal access. Hope you guys enjoy :)

Ive put what I consider a lot of time into this between making it, learning the geck, updating it, learning more of the geck, scrapping bits, Re doing pieces, geck crashing and having to redo bits i just created, using photoshop to better showcase peek pictures and create a suitable poster, learning audacity and then scrapping the files which are for some reason still here (I cringe soo much at them).. And now recording and editing a video..

Its all worth it if you give me your feedback :D 

sorry I just really want to know where to improve or what works better :)




Install

if you dont know how to install a fallout mod by now, shame on you :P ;D 
open the zipped file using winrar or whatever program of your choice for unpacking 
simply drag the file named RepconnSafehouse into your fallout new vegas data folder
open fallout mod manager and tick the box next to RepconnHeadquarters
Then play your game from there :) 

Important

Dont forget to never have more than one version active at once. 
And if you are changing to another version:
1. Go in game and remove ALL your items from the safehouse.
2. Stand outside overencumbered or whatever.
3. exit the game.
4. Extract the contents of the zip and place them in the data folder.
5. Disable the older version and activate the newer one when going back in game
6. Put all your shit back in the safehouse :)
