I love this mod and I am eager for an update! There are still a lot of types of common metal junk which don't have recipes to turn them into scrap metal. Also, some of the large items don't yield enough metal!

edit: I am going to try 'Scrap Metal Recipes' instead (not both, less conflicts, less list bloat). I'll keep a watch on this one on the off chance it gets an update!

edit again: I really like 'Scrap Metal Recipes', but it misses a few key things. I'm going to have both mods installed. There will be some overlap between the two, but UMI will be really necessary to get any decent amounts of scrap electronics or wonderglue, and also for converting a few things into metal that SMR misses.

sorry to burst your bubble but it's been 7 years since the mod was last updated. I am with you though, I also hope an update or refined version comes out

Can you make it to where some items give different things.
I.E. sensor modules, scrap electronics things of that nature.

      It already does this.

Will this conflict with the JSawyer mod? That adds a recipe to turn Bent Tin Can into normal Tin Cans.

I can confirm it works fine with JSawyer Ultimate Edition. It might not be 100% perfect, but nothing breaks and it doesn't crash.

@Arist966 OP, OP, there's something of half a bug here

The recipe that recyle Timer? That item is Timer01 with name as Eggtimer. Damn thing is pretty rare to find~

But we usually found the Egg Timer, code id is Eggtimer. This is a bit easier to find. Usually you find a timer thingy? It's this item, not the Timer01.

Indeed. it deal with quite useless junks we found~ Mind you, there's still the various dinner plates, coffee mugs, etc... those things that usually got dealt with by The Sink's npcs.

Nice and simple - and works as intended. Plus, it works really well with the recent Base Building Mod, which makes player use a rather big quantities of scrap metal.

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Seems like a really nice Idea!
You could get EVEN MORE advanced, by making a crazy amount of different craftable items, that require similar components to make those misc items.
I'll be watching this, will most likely consider downloading this depending on how updated it is.

Wow thank you for your excellent feedback! I'll make sure to create other craftable items using these components and it is a great idea i am looking forward to implementing. Perhaps creating recipes for mods just like the Fallout 4 trailer or crafting recipes for weapons.
