To be clear, playing Caravan with Sarah is NOT REQUIRED in any way. It is entirely optional and you can progress through the mod without ever playing a single hand.
Since playing Caravan rewards randomized bonuses to the relationship and trust variables, it can speed up you progression but, again, you do NOT need to play Caravan to progress.
Most of the bonuses are based on the dialogues so you can even tell her you want to play then back out of the Caravan mingame and still get the bonus.
The only thing you would need to play Caravan for is to get some of the new Vault 21 Caravan cards. But if you hate Caravan that shouldn't really be an issue ("I hate that I have to play Caravan to get the cards that I need to play Caravan".)
Realmente agradecido con el que hizo el mod. Funciona a la perfección y, al menos en mi caso, no me produjo ningún inconveniente, ya sea avanzando en la misión como, finalmente, reclutando a Sarah. Como añadido, lo de hacer del Refugio 21 una casa propia es excelente. El Lucky 38 quedó absolutamente sin uso desde que instalé el mod (o sea, desde casi el principio de la partida).
Yo tengo una duda respecto a como activar su quest para hacerla mi compañera. Hice su quest de los trajes de refugio, hice la quest de Miguel Angelo y hasta le dije que el Sr. House ya no será un problema para el refugio 21, pero no me aparece ningún diálogo o algo para proseguir con el mod.
Edit: Aclaro, su nivel de confianza conmigo ya rebasó los 30 puntos.
I really wish I just understood how I am supposed to progress, like it's kind of unclear, right now I am at an impossible because the quest log is asking me to bring her pictures of places, as far as I know there is no way to do that, like I don't know of any photos in the game and you don't have a working camera that I know of so I am at a loss...
I agree with you there. Just installed it and thought I would give it a try and it turned out to the most infuriating mod I've installed for New Vegas so far.
I had no desire to play that hated caravan game to get her trust level up so I just used the console command mentioned in previous posts. Found a couple of the dreaded exclamation mark/red triangle in her and my vault 21 rooms. When I got the book on curing agraphobia from Dr Usangi I found Sarah stuck in the room that is marked as restricted with a couple of guests insides. I managed to get in there with tcl but I couldn't get Sarah to follow me to visit her brother. Having to use console commands so many times in this early stage of the mod made me decide this mod wasn't worth keeping around so I uninstalled it.
Funny thing is that I've recently installed the Joana companion mod from the same mod author and that seems to work fine. I doubt the mod author's going to come on any time soon to fix this mod.
I tried to sleep with Sarah to progress with this companion quest, but she just doesn't come to the room, eventually the door got locked, I tried to get the room again but she just says she's closing down shop and that she'll meet me at the room. Any fixes?
I know this is old as hell, but I used console command moveto player while she was selected, and I was stuck at the doorway during the scripted event, and it put her in the sleep position.
