This is old as heck but it did exactly what I wanted without needing more mods to run it or being overdone. Sadly it doesn't seem to work with Female characters though as the gun and holster are floating far apart due to the mesh difference.
so this doesnt work with armed to the teeth? when armed to the teeth redux is active the gun positions itself like it was on a backpack rather than in a holster. is there a fix for this?
Strange as this may seem you actually have to have a certain level of survivability + crafting. You should not call this in by console. If you have to cheat on something like this you might just as well play in GOD mode.
This worked excellently well for me on my last playthrough. Though Armed To The Teeth is probably a more convenient solution for the player character, this is still very useful to add holsters for NPCs.
A mod that adresses masterfully an oddity. The end of weapons floating on your back for no reason. There is a holster now. It fits perfectly for pretty much everything, except maybe some energy weapons. Like the vanilla Gauss Rifle, or the Wattz 2000 laser rifle from Classic Fallout Weapons Remastered. But truth be told, better a holster that fits perfectl 90% of the weapons than a holster weirdly stretched for the sake of the remaining 10%. I believe that there is another holster mod for those 10% and they probably go well together. Endorsed.
Hey! I know this is a fairly old mod but you seem somewhat active here still so thought I'd ask. You have the radio from the Ranger Casual Outfit on your character, do you have that as a standalone piece? I'd love if you could post that (or post where you found it from!)
This looks amazing! Lines up perfectly with many rifles. The way it's designed, it still looks good with larger weapons, minor clipping. WEll done!
I combined this mod with Cowboy Weapons Holster https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/63374?tab=files to get my desired look of having a pistol holster along with this rifle holster. It has the added benefit (when used with the other mod's patch that removes its rifle holster) of always having the medicine gun in the holster no matter what weapon i'm using.
The medicine gun matches perfectly with this mod's Plume holster. Looks great! Thank you for the beautiful holster! Kudos. Uploading pic..
OK, so the holsters look great. I usually keep Medicine Stick in it and it's spot on. The bigger stuff clips through a bit but that's unavoidable I imagine. Wearing it on the back of some riot armor and it works great. Thanks for this.
