You do get a house in goodsprings though. Yes it's almost empty, but you can sleep in it, and has some storage containers that don't respawn. It's the only house you can actually take instead of steal.
Looks good, nice and roomy. Could maybe do with some clutter to look more lived in, although it does make a change to see somewhere so tidy. Have you tried navmeshing it yet?
