You should be able to use this with YUP and not the listed "required" file since the "required" one states that it was simply included in YUP. In that case, assuming nothing was changed about it, all the information this mod would need from the "required" one will still be present since YUP adds it into the game. So, yea, you should just be able to use it as is.
Just a suggestion, but what about changing the name to something like "Afterglow," so when the message displays, it says something like "You Are Lazy in the Afterglow." I've heard it called this before. Just a thought.
On an unrelated note, I *am* quite surprised Obsidian didn't do something like this, since they did in Alpha Protocol.
