Sorry guys, I can't fulfill your requests... the GPU on my newer pc recently died and I can't run New Vegas by now. I guess the mod still work nice on the newer DUST versions, but may not cover every area. I consider it a "bug fix", and it is anyway permissions free so if anyone thinks that it needs to be updated, free to do it...
for some reason this makes water disappear. I installed it in cottonwood cove to sleep in phoenix's bed after i killed him and all the water in the cove is gone. I only installed the esp so i have no idea why that happened. is there some way i can upload a picture of my load order from my computer? all i'm seeing is an option to insert a link via image. excuse my stupid username, i was 12 and i'm not a premium member so i can't change it
alright huge nitpick but for a dust mod the MASSIVE amount of clipboards in the game plastered with PRIVATE PROPERTY EXPIRED kinda takes me out of the game, i mean yea its just the clipboards and the mod is nice and everything but i cant go like 10 mins without being just like -- "oh yea thats the mod i downloaded" i mean yea vague complaint - and i checked in fnv edit even to see if there was a simple way to disable that but im no expert in it so meh
FNVedit won't work here since the mod overwrites the vanilla texture, rather than adding a new one and changing the clipboards' records to use that texture instead. The fix is a bit simpler, actually; uninstall the mod, unpack it, delete the "Textures" folder, re-pack what's left, and install your new version. No more texture.

There's one serious issue however, Dust makes use of bad karma gain and turns it into sanity gain (scavenging items increases your sanity). With this mod however, your sanity cannot increase due to stolen items (sanity gain items) now being neutral items (no sanity gain items).
I think DUST was made with this mod in mind, actually - you're probably NOT supposed to gain sanity by picking up "owned" items, because according to DUST's lore, very few of those items are really owned by anyone anymore. That, and having certain items give you sanity for collecting them and others not doesn't really make sense. If you need to gain sanity in DUST, the main things I remember were drinking alcohol and taking Thorazine.
there is no sanity gain for stealing - DUST uses Karma for Sanity, and using getav karma on yourself after stealing shows there is no Karma increase or decrease.
The halo icon does pop up, but nothing happens actually.
