This Mod needs to be polished, ever since i installed this mod, i've noticed ALL DRESSERS have this mod's Hats, i mean ALL.. ALL DRESSERS in my game dude.. i dunno but i think it would cause some Bloat or something, so ive removed this mod midgame **crossfingers hoping it didnt f'd up my gamesave** . Other things ive noticed: 1.The hats only works with Combat Ranger Helmet, i cant wear the hats with Elite Ranger Helmet. 2. I've noticed only 1 hat have an effect of "PER +1" specifically "Ranger Helmet Sheriff's Hat".. the other Ranger Helmet Hats dont have any effect at all..
I agree. Also, I wouldn't mind having this mod work with the ranger helmets added by Gopher's mods. Though it doesn't seem like anyone is going to fix this because the creator hasn't done anything with this mod in 4 years. Our best bet is if someone took over the mod.
Fixed the mod for you. He added the hats to a generic "dresser abandoned". It is an object used in multiple locations. I removed that and put a box on top of the dresser with 2 of each hat that respawn.
Overwrite the ESP in mod folder you have. Then go to a remote location with no dressers and wait 3 in-game days for the dresser containers to refresh their inventories.
I can only equip the sheriff hat, the other hats have a big red sign when I equip them. It was working fine, but then after yesterday it stopped working. Advice?
It's simple to make these work with any helmet, the Honest Hearts desert ranger gear, the Divide stuff, whatever... open the mod in the GECK, search for 'RH' and four added items will pop up at the bottom of the list (there are *s next to them), edit them and disable the body slots for headband and headwear and set them to Earrings or something else your ensemble isn't using, save, bam cowboy hat with riot gear.
The concept of this mod is exactly what I was looking for, the Sheriff hat looks perfect, the other hats are just a tad too huge for my liking. Endorsed but could use some polish, however with a bit of a GECK tweak worked just fine for me.
This is a nice mod. There is another on nexus, which removes the helmet and you can wear the mask with normal hats. unfortunately the Mas-Mod dont have nightvision etc...
