So, I finally tried it, and it works well! I like that I have to put caps into it for it to be functional - it's much more expensive to set up than the Novac apartment, but has crafting capability and is conveniently close to the start of the game. I've got an issue and a suggestion: 1. The vending machine isn't functioning for me after it is moved into the place. Can't put drinks in or take them out. Perhaps make it like the ones from Fallout 3 that were proper containers, and made the drinks inside cold after a certain amount of time/upon cell reload? 2. The lighting and atmosphere in general is a little lacking, I'd suggest the ability to add in more lights and a radio tuned to the station of the player's choice.
great mod but after a bit i upgraded it cleaned it up added trunk oven/fridge then fixed the vending machine and moved it inside. went off questing and then came back when i open the door it doesnt teleport me to the cellish i get stuck in between the door i think and i hear grates being knocked around if i try to move i can just look around from inside the door i can access my fridge but cant see it. or anything im like stuck inside the door itself even attempting console noclip didnt help. i can post a screen if i can to better describe it. im using a host of other mods but none that effect the gas station. one other player home in goodsprings and a couier stash move around mod thingy. ill disable those and check if that fixes if not i have some (lil bit) of geck experince ill poke around see if i can fix
Dude this is a great mod its short sweet simple and to the point theres none of that running around trying to find every item in the game and its not a massive city underneath goodsprings this really is a great mod
Now THIS is the kind of early-game player home that we need. Actually requires some work and questing, and doesn't just plop a bunker right under Doc Mitchell's house. I plan on trying this out soon.
