As much as I wanted to love this mod, all it does is crash my game when I exit Pvt. Edwards house. I know I'm probably not going to get a response to this, just a warning to any future downloaders. Shame, seemed like such a good mod.
I think Tem1980 used assets from both to make the rifle. I couldn't tell you specifically what. I edited his .esp, with his permission, and the original .esp required those two DLCs
If anybody has problems with weapon mods, download WMVM or Weapon Mod Vending Machine
Great looking mod, i always hated that you just got a generic service rifle for that quest. Would download but im currently playing FO3 again, though i may download anyways so its there,
I'm not sure of the specifics but I know Tem1980 has honest hearts as a master file so I'm going to assume he borrowed assets from the survivalist rifle. If you look at the original mod he made,
he has images comparing a normal service rifle, the survivalist rifle, and the Heartbreaker. The most obvious difference is the considerably bigger magazine that fits with the .308 round.
Haha, i had the exact same experience of misplaced anticipation and dissatisfaction with that mission. As far as first mods go, this is fantastic. My current play-through is with Energy weapons, but I'll make an exception for this weapon
Great immersion adder! Fits perfectly as that old rifle ...looks like it might brake into pieces and splinters any second. IMHO one of the best weapon mods for fallout! Especially when it comes to looks and lorefriendliness.
