It has just come to my attention that the mirelurk textures are not in the vanilla game. I didn’t realize that an old version of Monster Mod that I had installed added those textures to my data folder. If you want to fix the mirelurk textures, you will to copy the mirelurk textures from Fallout 3 and put them in your New Vegas data folder.
Are you sure you don't want to continue on this? It's pretty awesome and it would be pity if you left this work. I can see there was a lot of effort put into this.
ok I know its your life and we cant MAKE you finish this but......AWWW COME ON PLEASE?! you are to fallout what trainwiz is to skyrim....... seriously YOU AND TRAINWIZ CANT BE TOO PRO BECAUSE YOU GUYS ARE TOO CHAMPION!!!! eeh whether you finish it or not its still damn well glorious.............though im just gonna say this is like the second half of the Stephen kings the shining being non-existent....
I was coming here for that exact reason, and I have the newest version of Monster Mod downloaded and I guess the newer version of the Monster Mod doesn't have the Mirelurk textures. It would be cool if someone out there would add the mirelurk textures and make it a mod because I currently don't have Fallout 3...
I went into this not expecting a lot given the quality of some of the other modded content I had played beforehand. I was most pleasantly surprised, the house at first was exactly as I expected with some jump scares. However the quality just climbs and climbs as you get further into the depths. While it certainly has rough edges, I would totally recommend it to those who like varied encounters, trippy transitions, and unique interesting level design. If you're looking for story with closure, keep looking, if you can handle more questions that answers I think the Haunted House is worth the 200 cap entry fee despite not being quite finished.
Thanks Devilswish, good stuff. By the way this was my feeling upon exiting alive in one piece,
P.S. I didn't have any crashes in my playthrough despite having a pretty bloated and not well maintained mod list.
This looks like a good mod but unfortunately, I've experienced crashes when trying to enter the 2nd room. I recommend anyone who is considering downloading this mod to have clean saves in case you experience similar issues.
same here, for some reason both this mod and the bionic augmentation that was made by the same author has severe issues, I can't get through the second door and I can't get into the bionic augmentation lab either.
i downloaded this mod a time ago with a bunch of other mods and i wasn't able to try it out until today. and i had this need to come back and say that.. this mod... is insanely amazing! yes, it's unfinished, and yes there are texture missing from one enemy (it can be fixed), but i had so much fun, and the way everything was placed, the transitions, the animations, everything was amazing. it left me so intrigued about everything lol. long story short, this mod is worth trying even if it has an open ending. it's incredible what the author did with such an old game <3
