I was looking forward to using this as headgear to act as a "combat cap" to compliment a mercenary "uniform." But on trying to install it (the folder hierarchy inside the archive isn't correct; that's why others are having a tough time installing it) I took a look at the optional textures folder, and discovered that...
...this isn't a baseball cap. It's a retexture of an entire outfit -- a child's outfit, with three different textures for the baseball cap that's part of that kid's outfit.
Since I use FOMM and not NMM I have no certitudes about howto. That said, since it's just a texture replacement, assures you that the files are placed in the right place (~Fallout New Vegas/data/textures/armor/1950stylechild). Finally, as for others textures mods, perform an "Archive Invalidation".
I finally uploaded an updated version with updated textures. The old version had no mipmaps, which is a problem for people who changes the game texture quality.

That's fun. Thanks for that.
