Awesome, thanks for the mod. Any chance you can add a timer to them so they don't get back up right away after being killed? I won't play without hardcore mode on, but I also get annoyed at having to baby the companions with stupid AI. It just feels a bit cheap when they die and instantly get back up, for now I'm using a bashed patch to get around that.

Yes but who really likes seeing poor Rexy boy cold and lifeless just because they wanted a better game experience? I appreciate your opinion on the matter but please remember I didn't make this mod solely for you. I made it for those that love their companions too much to watch them fall on the battlefield.
Yes I am well aware that there is a console command for it. But I always hated having to re-enter it. So I just did this quick coding change to make them essential so I wouldn't have to keep up with it and thought others might appreciate it as well.
