Sorry for the long reply time, as of old times on Nexus I got notified if someone commented on a mod I released but it seems changed.
A FO3 version? I'm not sure, is there a great demand for this? The key point is if FOSE support the commands I use, probably I could make up something but is it worth the time?
Idk, most people prefer TTW. But it just a really handy tool. Now I need to go into the console type tfc 1 and tm, while I just need to press 1 hotkey to have it happen in less than a second with your mod. But you're the dev, so you are the one who decides to do it or not.
For me this is almost a must have for wsex. Can often fix the wonky camera if you forget to go into 3rd person before initiating animations. Then you just bring pipboy up and back down again to fix anything left. I was actually about to make my own hotkey mod for freecaming then thought to do a search and looked at yours in xedit. I was like yep, no reason to even reinvent the wheel, because this is some nice stuff.

The idea was to make something that one that see something in game crazy or awesome at a single click can freeze and move around and take pictures of it (without switching to console and type loads of "magic" words to get it done). But I would like to know what bugs? Already mentioned in the description or new ones? FONV is stable compared to FO4 that still get "updates" all the time and often in an out of the blue timing.
If it's fixable for FONV I would like to know to improve this mod.
Small bugs include when the Free Camera (FC) is on then changing guns will make gun disappear and if you fire auto guns then the gun will keep fire even after you stop fire and pressing ESC will crash the game when FC is on. There are few more but not too important.
BUT these bugs can be avoid by not doing anything except looking and moving when the FC is on which is the main purpose of this mod.
I made a new 1.2 release, there was (still) a flaw into detecting correct NVSE version. I think now it will be permanently fixed for newer NVSE versions.

From http://nvse.silverlock.org/ and the Q/A: * I don't think NVSE is working. How can I check? - Launch NV, then open the console and type "GetNVSEVersion" (without the quotes). It should print back "NVSE version: 1". If this works, then NVSE is working properly. If it prints an error, then something is wrong. Recheck the installation instructions, especially to verify that you have installed everything to the correct directory.
Let me know what you get from the suggested output in console.. (and currently is should say version 4)
I'm having the same issue. NVSE version is 4.6b1 and the GetNVSEVersion is 4.
EDIT: Tried to do a clean save but that didn't work. Also the hotkey to free cam works despite the message popping up.
Another Edit: I checked the caamerachecknvse script with http://www.cipscis.com/fallout/utilities/validator.aspx and removed "MessageBoxEx " SORRY! Free Camera lack correct NVSE version support :-( %r This mod requires a newer version of NVSE (4.2b3 or better). %r You have release %.0f.%.0fb%.0f %r Upgrade NVSE or remove this FreeCamera mod now." iNVSEVersion iNVSERevision iNVSEBeta" and the message box stopped popping up. Though the message is important.
Edit #3: I checked GetNVSERevision and Beta and got 6 and 1.
Edit #4: I uninstalled the mod, then reinstalled it and changed if iNVSEBeta < 3 set iNVSEUpgrade to 1 from 3 to 1 and the messages stopped appearing.
Sorry for this, the checking of NVSE version and my bad coding together with another issue I was not aware of before is showing it's ugly face when starting a new game. Since I often runs along with the same character and game line this was not obvious.
I have made a new 1.1 version that shall respect newer versions of NVSE correctly, and also a feature that when you set camera modes to your liking any game you load old or new after this will have all your favourite key bindings and settings is now fixed to be working.
Also if the mod still think you have the wrong NVSE version it will only tell it once! Yeah, I noted it was very irritating when I got this error myself
