And *what* exactly does this mod do? He's already dead in my current game, as he should be, but I might try it out in the future if I at least knew what.
I never killed him, I just crippled his arms, legs, head, and torso and let him run away. Seems like a fair trade off, he hangs around the GS Source and is only hostile if you try to talk to him, and it's funny to see him limping around because his entire body is crippled. Plus if you have solid project you can swing by and beat the crap out of him with the takedowns the mod adds.
The whole thing is simple... there is no "injustice" in the matter. He didn't "trick me into killing some geckos for him", that would be totally fine. Dude's gotta do what he's gotta do to get by. He sealed his own fate when instead of letting s#*! lie, he kicked the bear and SHOT AT ME. That voids all unwritten social or moral decency understandings. Regardless of the reasons why, as soon as you are unabashedly trying to KILL somebody else, there should be no surprise when they respond in kind.
"...he comes back and is forced into combat with the player over this small matter..." if that's how you decided to tractate things that happening in New Vegas, then Ceasar's Legion are wasteland's holy missionaires and Fiends are poor victims of a drug abuse.

You mean we weren't supposed to do that?
