I installed this mod and loaded into my game with no issue. However, when entering my pipboy, my whole inventory is jumbled ontop of each other at the top of the pipboy screen. I uninstalled the mod and my inventory was back to normal, reinstalled and same thing. Any way to fix this?
I have this visual bug where DT and DR are taking up the same UI slot in the upper bar of the Pip-Boy UI. However, after installing this mod to solve the issue, it still looks the same, but has the additional DR information when hovering over an item with DT and DR in the Pip-Boy.
Check out those fat requirements and install instructions
Alternatively you can just acquire the new fan-continued Darnified UI with it built in, but you'll need to follow the requirements and install instructions there too
so, where do we get the needed 'darnfield UI' mod from? it's not here anymore and neither i could find it on the bethesda site where the like leads to...? really, it sucks that mods getting harder to dig out the older a game goes - and mods that require others should just be added to them... the silly 'author needs to allow this' crap should be ignored or the whole 'mod depend on blahblah' should be forbidden to prevent all those dead connections. bad enough that mods get out of date because the authors gave up on them and forgot to 'allow' other to take over (not that prevented me from modifiying mod for myself because of such nonsense). this permit should be automatically be given if mods are out of date for a certain time or else they should not be allowed to put their mod here in the first place... ok, rant-end... looks like i either search for something similar wor waste my time and write it myself... great...
We can't just distribute other peoples' work without permission, that's not how it works whether you agree with it or not. You can find it ridiculously easily (I'm talking under 5 seconds), but I cannot personally condone that unless I want to put myself at risk.
DT is a flat reduction vs the incoming damage. If you're about to be hit with 20 damage and you're wearing a 10 DT set of armor, it'll deal 10 damage. If you're wearing a 20 DT (or higher) set of armor, it'll reduce it down to 20% of the damage, never less; if the starting damage was 20, then the remainder would be 4.
After all that is done, Damage Resistance kicks in, which reduces that remaining damage by your DR represented as a percent. 50 DR would reduce that 10 damage by 50%, for a total of 5. Or 2 damage, per the second scenario.
i use mod organiser 2 and when i go to manual option on MO2, it says that the content of this file are invalid. i try to re direct it, but doesnt work.
You can always manually extract the contents of the FOMOD and re-zip it. I use both 7z and MO2, it extracts and installs correctly for me, all within Mod Organizer without any re-zipping required.

If you're not seeing it in both places, you likely just have a conflict.

The damage formula is available on the wiki, which factors in a lot more than just your DT and DR.
What should i do?
