So, I'm aware that this comment is on a very old mod, and It's highly unlikely I'll get a response, but does anyone know what value needs to be edited in the GECK to change the Critical hit chance? I'm using this along with Psyker (https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/68364)  for an "All for One" style multi-powered villain run, but all of the ranged powers seem to be guarenteed critical hits even at 1 Luck, and I'd like to tone that down a bit if I can (Disitegrating everyone is fun to start with, but the constant ash piles make looting after a big battle a nightmare)

Found it! Needed a minor GECK Adjustment on critical chance, as many were up at 100%

Glad you were able to tweak it to fit your game :)

Wonder if these work with the grenade key mod? That'd be pretty damn cool, shooting a gun and suddenly just hurling lightning at your enemy!

It does, I used to use it back in the day. I believe I categorised some of the psionics as thrown weapons, and some of them (such as the fire bomb) as grenades.
(also, I forgot this mod existed until I googled myself, hence the late response :P)

Holly crap dude! How do you forget that you made mod?! LOL
A rather good one too! However I did try it with the grenade key and sadly it doesn't seem to work as is! I'm pretty sure I could make it work if I tweak it a little, but I don't wanna touch it! I don't feel that my skills are sufficient!
I would have really liked if this was actually a true super power mod, It would make sense! It would make a great alternative start mod too, the Courier being on the move because of the fear of his power! And one day getting unlucky getting shot and saying f*** all! And starting to explore his powers and his gun skill alike! I mean really Magic wouldn't be as out of place in Fallout as some people would like to believe, the universe already has a lot of weird s*** in it! And they people can say "NO IT's SCIENCE FICTION" until the THIS world ends! As far as I'm concerned Magic fits in science fiction perfectly, DC and Marvel do it all the time! And it has worked for them just fine.

      *replies 4 years later*
Psykers are a group of psionic users who (if my memory serves) gained psionic abilities from strains of the FEV (Forced Evolution Virus). They are part of the original fallout lore so they very much do fit in! Also I agree and imo games are fantasy, no matter how "realistic" they appear so any additional fantasy content a creator or even a modder puts into it is valid. Personally I view fallout and skyrim as universes within the same multiverse, or just different eras in the same universe.

I can't seem to use or aim them

Edit: Nvm, forgot that you can't draw weapons during the start at Doc Mitchell's house.

You somehow glitched your ModInfo .xml file, NMM can't install it.

    What went wrong?

I'm not sure! Perhaps I forgot to update a version number or something? It should be completely safe to install manually as it doesn't replace any existing files though. Thanks for letting me know :)

Actually my new theory is that when NMM was updated to Vortex and the way it handles mod files was changed, perhaps something broke along the way? Anywho I'm feeling nostalgic for FO:NV so I'm re-downloading it along with the GECK, might update this mod soon since I'll be playing with it :)

Search for X7 in the console via "Help X7" and that will list the IDs (er assuming this works for fallout NV, i can't remember if it does, sorry!)

I came across this while browsing... in New Vegas you have to use search function instead of help.
For example, if i needed to search for a frag grenade it'd be like :
      search frag

      or

search "frag grenade"  -if you wanna be more specific ...
I guess I'm 4 years late but, hope this helps ...

these don't seem to be hold out weapons, im playing a character run-through with now sneak abilities, and when i go into a casino they are taken, i would imagine that they would be hold out.

HOW THE s#*! WOULD TAKING YOUR PSYKER POWERS WORK??? "Sorry sir, you aren't allowed to bring super powers in here." What, do they rip them out of your hands? Suck them out with a vacuum?

Hey, at least you're not playing the monk. Getting disarmed means something completely different for him.

This is so great for the 40k conversion. Now all we need is an addon that adds psyker opponents.

And it's back on skyrim's side of the nexus.

And apparently requires the Hairstyler mod.
