No, it is not VFX, it is a simple texture that moves. Honestly, this hardly has any impact on FPS. I have an old rig, and i will take the 1024 version.
Use Vortex would the easiest way. Install Vortex if you haven't already then go to the files tab and select your download option (slow unless you get premium) and Vortex should download it- then go to mods on vortex and hit install and enable once its done.
Lol. Anyone ever play Conan Exiles? Wouldn't that be crazy to see one of those big ass sand storm walls hauling ass towards you? Sorry, just a thought I had to share.
I have been playing just a little while, and I thought that that whiteness was a special radioactive zone or something. I never suspected it was supposed to just be a sand storm until I saw this. Downloading!
i have been looking for some overall dust/sand storm replacement and this looks like the right thing. But, I was wondering if there is any way you could point me towards a way to modify the overall color of this texture? The reason is that when using an ENB, whenever there is a sandstorm the storm is brightened a lot to the point that it looks more like fog then anything else. I have attempted to change ENB settings but cannot find something that fixes this.
So, I have now attempted to make the limestone texture darker by essentially recoloring it as more orange/brownish using GIMP and a DDS plugin. but that didnt give me any results. Then I attempted to just copy and paste the colored texture over and over until pretty much the whole thing is filled with the texture and that new color.
Still, there is no results in game, it keeps the same color as before.
Please, if you have some spare time to help, that would be wonderful for me and other lurkers around.
