I'm a Canadian too, that's why I created this mod. (I do have a rather ignorant American stereotype included in a note in this mod) Anyway maybe I should make the guy the all American magnum that shouts "yeehaw!" when fired haha!!
oh cmon people, it was just a joke and im not an ignorant american, im an ignorant brazilian, people call us monkey all the time, is this stereotypical? for sure it is but instead of thinking of it in as an offense id rather accept the joke and joke back. im sorry if people find it offensive but it means that the world think of you as an polite people, is it that so bad?
by the way i loved the idea of the all american yealling "yeehaa"
Hey, if we're doing American stereotypes here; lets not screw around. It needs to be a battle rifle (M1 Garand) named patriot that has a thicker stock than the original model and a superiority complex. 'Murica!
As a Canadian with many friends on both sides of the 49th, I have to add input:
If we're talking stereotype weapons, the 'Murican weapon should be a minigun that fires bibles, the muzzle flash should alternate red white and blue, and when you're firing it, the sound should be someone with a southern accent yelling " 'MURICA!'MURICA!'MURICA!"
The Canadian stereotypical weapon would be not a gun, but a hockey stick. And every time you hit someone with it, you'd get Don Cherry saying either "HEY!" or "TORON'UH!" Also, Maple Syrup grenades that replace Nuka-Bombs.
Edit: Despite going into this with intended humour, now that I'm reading it, I would download the crap out of such mods.
no a murkin gun should be called Obese Man, of course a unique verson of a fat man, built out of scrap and fires a custom round something like Nuka Cola Bottle filled with powder, and a MF cell modified to be a Micro Fission Cell ducktaped to the front.
Ok, but being Canadian means you already make fun of Canadian stereotypes. That's why it's a stereotype in the first place. Besides the Canadian gun should be a Hockey Stick that makes a "Lets go bud" every time you reload and shoots cups of Timmies at the enemy. The hot coffee would do burn damage too. Or better yet, make the Timmies grenades and make the gun shoot Toonnies.
Great job thejohanathan130! This is one of my favorite weapon mods. There is, however a couple of bugs... If you apply any of the vanilla Service Rifle's mods the texture changes to vanilla. also do you think you could add compatibility with this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/55135/? or add your own reflex sight?
-Find your Fallout New Vegas folder. Example mine is found at: C:\Steam\Steamapps\common\Fallout New Vegas -Open the downloaded file, note you will require winzip or WinRAR. -Drag the Data folder from the Rar archive (the file you just downloaded) into your Fallout New Vegas folder. -Either in FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) or in the crappy fnv given data explorer (can be access through regular start menu) check the box called Canadian Service Rifle. -THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT OR THE TEXTURES WILL NOT WORK!!!!! -you need archive invalidation done correctly. just use this: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/35935/?
I'll work on that after finishing on the CADPAT uniform, that may take me a couple months because I'm learning how to make models and BMQ's right around the corner.

Also what is a "Bullet Sound" you mean a gun shot
I'll see about fixing that stuff, to be brutally honest I have no idea how.
