NVAC 7.5.0.0 fixes the Windows 10 Anniversary Update + up-to-date Nvidia / AMD video driver crashes / issues for the following: Fallout New Vegas Fallout New Vegas No Gore (German) Fallout 3 Fallout 3 No Gore (German) Oblivion GECK (New Vegas) GECK (Fallout 3) Construction Set (Oblivion)
It should also be installable via mod manager for New Vegas, Fallout 3, and Skyrim; would like confirmation that installing it via NMM, etc. works correctly for all 3 games (I only did minimal testing). Oblivion users will need to install manually (in Data\OBSE\Plugins).
To clarify, if you're using NVAC 7.4.0.0 or older and New Vegas crashes when loading a game, and nvac.log contains 00B57AA9, you're affected by the Win10AU issue.
is anyone else also getting a bug where the left arm of NPC's just start twisting like an eldritch nightmare? I've seen some posts say it comes from NVAC and it might be true from what I've been seeing
So far I've found that updating my xNVSE version to 6.3.5b has resolved this issue entirely, though this is just so far on my current playthrough so please don't disintegrate me if it doesn't fix it on your end
Also getting the spinning left arm, and I do not run either Leaning or Quickthrow, and I'm on the latest xNVSE. I would rather not uninstall an important mod like this to fix one bug, but if that's the only option so be it.
Edit: bFixEnhancedCameraGroundSinkBug being set to 1 in Stewie's Tweaks may be the cause, as I had not experienced this until setting it on, and some posts on Reddit also mention it.
So it seems like this has a couple causes, but NVAC is always involved. Sadly when I run without NVAC I randomly crash when loading new areas.
I tried disabling B42 mods and "bFixEnhancedCameraGroundSinkBug" is set to 0. Still inevitably happens. Annoying part is that it doesn't always happen right away.
Should be renamed to ''NVBC - New Vegas Boost Crash'' As it fails miserably at preventing crashes and increasig the chance of the latter, more likely during quicksaves and loading screens. On the good side it rarely crashes upon being removed, so I guess things worked out for me in the end, just wanted to keep it minimal.
I also have this issue. After copying over the NVSE files over, I noticed there's no Plugin folder. Did you just create it an put the file in there? I'm confused. It seems the current NVSE version doesn't have this folder.
Is there a fix for the characters having no hair in the game, saw one for nvidia GPUs with D3D9 but I have a AMD and rolling back the driver destroys the FPS for some reason
Whenever I try to install this mod, the mod manager tells me that the "object reference was not set to instance of an object." I am using Windows 11 and have downloaded the game via Xbox Game Pass. What can I do to fix this?
you can't mod games through gamepass. it's an issue a lot of people have. xbox/microsoft has it disabled. the only way to do it is to pull the game out of its protected state with some program that goes through your computer's directory. I don't trust that kind of thing so i just bought it on steam
Same here. Windows 11 Event Viewer shows: Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Epic Games\FalloutNewVegas\Fallout New Vegas English\FalloutNV.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\ntdll.dll Tried this mod as well as multiple others, didn't work.
