Lost me when you told another modder his mod sucked. I'll keep using his thanks. When you've been playing this as long and used as many mods as I have, sucky attitudes count as much as sucky mods.
This was just the mod I was hoping to find, but I do have an issue. I've tried using both the ESP and ESM versions, and both result in the desired ka-ching noise, but the default New Vegas sound still plays under it. Any help appreciated.
Also, I couldn't figure out what the description means when it talks about "dependencies". Having some light shed on that would be helpful too. Thanks.

You must haven't got an other sound of XP UP in DATA>SOUND (check, it's maybe your problem !?).
