I have tried out this mod. This doesn't work with the Steam version of Fallout: New Vegas, but works perfectly for the GOG version. On my last playthrough, I laden my game with tons of 2K (plus some 4K) graphical mods, and the game worked fine, with few crashes.
so... did anyone figured out how to avoid ctd's having a heavily modded game? i have 116 active plugins and i trigger ctd's randomnly from time to time i have some merged plugins but more than a half of my mods (55) cannot be merged since they are fomods and if i try to merge them, the dreaded red triangle exclamation spawns all over and textures get fucked up, by the way i'm using ttw 3.2.2
Imagine making a mod for the GOG version only that breaks the steam version, never stating so, and then telling users to just buy the game again. I'm annoyed there's no warning at any point. Only checking these posts will tell you. Despicable.
Are you using the Steam version of Fallout: New Vegas? If so, try the GOG version instead. This doesn't work with the Steam version, but works perfectly for the GOG version. This doesn't work with the Steam version of Fallout: New Vegas, but works perfectly on the GOG version. Last time I played, I crammed tons of 2K (and some 4K) graphical mods in my game, and it ran like a dream, with very few crashes.
a lot of people complaining about the game breaking and having to redownload it well first off is you were told to "USE THIS METHOD AT YOUR OWN RISK" second you were told "BACK UP VEGEAS ITS LAUNCHER AND THE NVSE" so that was if id did break it youd just need to restore the backup taking only a minute or 2 third IT F**KD ME UP TOO AND WHAT DID I DO? i simply reverted the changes by unchecking the >2gb boxs and playing the game
Right? That's what I did. I'm used to idiotic mods here. If I want mods that work I play Skyrim SE and Fallout 4 where are all the good modders went. lol
