Doesn't work with Vanilla UI Plus because when you're on the Data menu if you hit S to navigate down to Items you'll consume a Stimpak. This is because the Hotkey for VUI+ Stimpak use from the menu is S.
To fix this, 1. find "stats_menu.xml" in the Vanilla UI Plus (New Vegas) mod folder. You need to go to the "Menu" folder and then the "Main" folder 2. Open "stats_menu.xml" with Notepad++ 3. On line 46 change " <_PCButton_S> stats_stimpak_button </_PCButton_S> " to " <_PCButton_Q> stats_stimpak_button </_PCButton_Q> " 4. On line 418, change " &-sPCMenuHintS; " to " &-sPCMenuHintQ; " 5. Place Pipboy Menu Tabbing Hotkeys ABOVE VUI+ in the load order
You can change Q to any keybind you want, as long as it's not S it won't conflict. Personally I just use Q
My load order is:
1. The Mod Configuration Menu 2. MCM BugFix 3. Pipboy Menu Tabbing Hotkeys 4. Vanila_UI_Plus (New Vegas) 5. Vanilla_UI_Plus_Remastered_Patch_1 6. UIO - User Interface Organizer 7. Primary Needs HUD - pHUD
Fantastic, very underrated mod! Really makes the game's interface that much easier to use. As others have said, it'd be great if you implemented this so that it works with other menus, but considering the last update was in 2013 I'm not holding my breath lol. Still, on the off you check your notifications for this, just know that there are people who still find this to be a fantastic mod.
This mod kicks butt Mama. I use a VR head set and it can be pain trying to click around. Now I can just easily navigate around. This is how it should of been all along. Wish I could endorse twice.... Ahhhh, Gary...

Took me while to figure this out because there was only NVSE required in the first line.

Can you remind me of any requirements for this?
Using MO2 with latest NVSE. Will report back after some more testing.
