I made modifications to this mod, first of all I clean it, second I remove the DLC dependencies and finally, I have made a version in which the “Educated” perk only Works until you reach level 30, it will still exist as one of your perks, but it will stop working. I think this is a brilliant rebalance, but the original author disappeared from the scene for a few years now, I think I will rebuild this mod from the start and reupload my own version… What you think?

I too have CTD problems like derf and I think I know why - when starting F:NV, a warning about "missing masters" appears in background. Looking at file description in Fallout Mod Manager, this mod list ALL Dlcs as master files. That means also Tribal, Classic and Caravan Packs. And I don't use them so there you have it.
Also I'm not sure other DLCs are even needed to be listed as masters. I'd fix it myself, but I don't know how.

I hope the author of this mod is still around to fix this...Or if any other kind souls would do it instead.

edit: Well, tbh, KedolsPIssed already mentioned this might be a problem.

edit2: actually, I solved the master dependency problems. Just use FOMM, right click on mod and choose TESsnip, then click on TES4 and then in lover left window search for "MAST" that have DLC as masters. Deleted "Pack" related MAST and now F:NV loads without problems. Dunno it this mod works, guess I'll have to level a new char to lvl 30 and see.

Don't know if I'm too late to the party to get a response but I get a CTD every time I try to run this mod. I love the idea because I hate the skill overload you have at 50 but like leveling and getting perks. Thanks for any help.

Thanks both of you. I had not looked into it in detail. This makes it very interesting. Downloading.

Yes I know about that perk, and I really appreciate that the developers thought of it. But as Xaranth said, that perk stops you from leveling up - but I like leveling up, obviously
This way you still get perks but don't have that 100% in half your skills.
As I wrote, I just threw this together for myself before I make a new playthrough - with all the DLC but still hopefully an enjoyable late game.
I just thought I might as well put it up.

@Bernt - Actually, Logan's Loophole is from (I think) OWB, but maybe LR. The other thing is, it doesn't let you level up at ALL past 30. Similar but not identical effects. <img class=">

I don't want to diminish your idea. The reasoning is good. But if I am not mistaken then the perk "Logans Loophole" does the same. I admit that I cannot remember if it DLC dependant.
