For those looking to use this mod in 2024 and beyond there is a more recently uploaded alternative mod that essentially adds what this mod does but also adds a few new dress options to complete Veronica's quest. This is the mod in question
Doesn't even work for me! She says nothing when i trade it in her inventory just like in Vanilla! I figured this might be because i use Companions C&C JIP plugin, but i checked it out and there is no conflicts between the two, so i have no idea wha'ts causing this...
This is mostly for anyone else that happens to see this, but the reason Veronica won't wear the dress is because all NPCs always wear the clothes/armour in their inventories with the highest DT, unless a script is forcing them to wear a particular item. Since the dress has lower DT than her default robes, she doesn't switch to the dress. Lastly, this is not a glitch, but an intended feature.
Great idea. I'm surprised they didn't do this with the DLC since she's already affected by it in other ways.
ripple: To get this to go with the other companion mods that edit her script, I just added these changes with the geck to go along with the other mod's changes. (improved companions and passive cass)
