As FMod stated, the mod load order is very important. Even with this mod, I eventually ended up getting the "Invalid Chip in CasinoData List!" message when playing slot machines. I would not let it end like that, however. So, I went back to the ".nvse" file associated to a save I made earlier in the game that I knew didn't have this problem yet, and took note of the plugins I saw at the top. The order of the plugins listed represents the load order of the plugins in your game, as it was saved at that point in time. I then compared this against my current load order, found a difference, adjusted it so that "aces - casino data extension.etm" has the same index and plugins before it as it originally did, and it fixed the issue for me. I was able to continue playing my current save without the annoying message.
If you follow FMod's instructions regarding the load order from the start (like I should have but did not), you should be able to completely avoid the issue. To put emphasis on it, if you have not yet installed the mod, make sure your load order flows as follows:
FalloutNV.esm
DeadMoney.esm
<other DLC>
ACES - Casino Data Extension.esm
<*.esm>
<*.esp>
Load order for other components doesn't matter.
The idea behind it is so that the same mods will come before ACES throughout your entire game, and its load order index remains unchanged.
I first installed this mod to see if it would help fix my "invalid chip in casinodata list" problem, which it did. But it also made casinos much more pleasant to play in. My Blackjack is way more fair now (I have 5 luck), and it's super cool being able to do high roller games and not getting banned from a casino for making 10k. I know this mod is old an hasn't been updated in awhile but thanks a lot for this gem.
i got this mod thinking it would fix my problem with the casinos i keep getting the "invalid chip in casinodata list" and it turns my chips into chips called (casino name here) 100$ chip and (casino name here) 50$ chip ect but it didnt work and i cant double down at the blackjack table because when you save and load it fixes it for a little while but then it breaks again there is nowhere i can get help with this so im hoping someone can help
okay so i fixed the problem with the invalid chip in casinodata list bug but every time i go into the slots it bugs out and i suddenly go from 500 chips to an insane number to 0 chips
i found out that the casino overhaul breaks the games
Casino Overhaul contains a major bug with the slot machines in Gomorrah. When exiting a slot machine, it converts the chips from the base version used by the game's gambling algorithm to the casino-specific denomination chips ($5, $25, $100, $500). However, when it calculates the number of $500 chips it divides by 100 instead of 500, resulting in the skyrocketing chip totals, which I assume eventually overflow to a negative, resulting in the complete loss of chips.
Since it has been nearly eight years since this mod has been updated, I would assume that we will not be seeing a fix for this.
I send a comment to the maker of the Run the Lucky 38 mod, because that mod had problems with the chips (you can see it in there comments). But I don't know if the modder ever picked it up. So, maybe a idea to send this modder more private messages or make a fix for that mod. I don't know anything about modding, but I know I like Run the Lucky 38.

There is also a Bison and Lucky mod with a casino inside: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40433
Maybe there are more good ones. But these together give chip-problems. Maybe you can do the job by making a fix or contact these guys about it. I did it, but still no response.
For further authentication, I would just like to state that as of today, since this mod's inception, I have not encountered any bugs regarding my Regional Casinos mod.

I'll think I'll try it again, since there should be an update coming soon.
