this mod/bugfix is a few years old. does it still work? I am getting this bug now. seeing it is an old one you would think that this fix would be included into the unofficial patches. i'm gonna try it because first I believed it was Lunet mod, Which I adored. So I got rid of that mod and started a brand new game. Well I haven't even left goodsprings and BOOM!!! Again. ILMAO. It is Funny, But it is soooo Aggravating.
Just curious, but could you list most of the events where someone's head explodes? The Dead Money DLC is one, but outside of that I'm not sure what other events trigger it.
I don't have any of the DLC myself, but in the many playthroughs I have had the bug only appeared after I did the Brotherhood of Steel quest where they fit you with an exploding collar to prevent your escape. My "fix" is to remove the head explosion script from the collar itself.
I've gain that head explode bug after doing final quest of Old Blue World .. coulnt get out of MT my head just exploded and i died . tkz a lot this fixed right . endorsed
Endorsing ASAP, every player needs this in their back pocket just in case, this bug was about to make me dump the whole game in the recycle bin and hit EMPTY. Had a save file that literally was within 1 minute of the random explosion, tried 3 other 'no explode' patches and BLAM, dead, so glad this one worked, honestly I'd rather have quests bug up instead of a RANDOM UNCONTROLLABLE INSTANT DEATH, dumbest and most game breaking bug I have ever witnessed.
