Vortex has received a lot of updates since and I would choose this mod manager over MO2 any day. You can pretty much ignore your plugins now because Vortex does it for you. You only need to manage your mods for compatibility issues if any.
Do everything in the video, turn off profile management, and never manually add files to your game's directory (unless you absolutely have to for some reason). Good luck to you and future readers.
wanted to ask something but also point something out as a "bug";
so the "bug" first: if using the additional esp to add water breathing to the helmets it completely removes the head and face but keeps additional items aka glasses etc equipped, not using this esp fixes the issue
now my question: how do you add the head scarf to the Outcast helmet/ where can you find 1 in game
I installed it, all textures, meshes and .esps. It seemed to be working, at least on NCR armor, didn't notice any difference on other armor. However, NCR armor now has a gaping hole in the neck area: https://i.imgur.com/oHzcnsr.jpg Mod had only one conflict (YUP patch) and I loaded armors after it, so there shouldn't be any problems at all. Such a shame, I really liked the NCR textures, but I'll have to disable it. Maybe it's for the best, seeing that it has a whopping 8 esp files, that it is way too much stability compromise for one mod..
EDIT: Ok, sorry, really dumb of me. That black thing is actually a vanilla thing. Didn't notice it before, maybe mod does make it a little more pronounced. Anyway, I'd still like to make it a single .esp. I heard something about "bashing" esps into a single one with wrye bash. I wonder if it is possible with this mod?
Readme's are a bit inconsistent. You have texture pack "7ADAM - NCR Patrol Armour" and you have also "ADAM - NCR Patrol Armour.esp". However, in the readme for textures, afterline "7. ADAM - NCR PATROL ARMOUR" it says "*REQUIRES... um... Fallout: New Vegas*". So does it require ADAM - NCR Patrol Armour.esp or not? Same goes for other .esp's, which are not listed as required.
The short version: is there a proper installation instructions for this mod? Or do I just experiment and hope it does not break the game?

I had to watch this video to get my Vortex to work right.
