that would require you to make the deathclaw labeled as an animal rather then an abomination which can be a bit more challenging then adding an effect to the weapon, in truth this is an extremely simple mod although it is a wonderful one
I like your mod. It was interesting to see it work. Externally, it looks like a manually operated animal friend perk. Also interesting was when I hit one of the cazadors with the torch, it caught fire, went from neutral back to enemy status but fled instead of fighting. Neat!
When I hit an animal the torch has made neutral, does it automatically flee out of the PC's perception range? I could not find the wounded cazador and the game never awarded XP for a kill.
How long does the torch neutral effect last on each NPC?
Have u time to answer my a question on the RTS mod ? How can I kill my Settlers ? I use this mod here to bring the animals into my village but they can´t kill my Settler =(.
Great idea but yeah like the others said needs a quick fix to make it a one handed weapon (very low durability) and emit a decent light source. perhaps you have to swing it to scare them away aswell for immersion, there's alot more that could be done here is all, keep it up
It might be better if you make the torch a one-handed piece of equipment like in Oblivion as it will not slow you down and is useful for quickly scouting new areas, also it should generate a decent amount of light so people use this instead of the pip-boy light when exploring interiors!
