I like it very much so far. Wish there was more content. The peculiar thing is, Melissa' character feels much more consistant to the Wasteland, a genuine stone cold cutthroat girl, as opposed to vanilla game's toxic feminists. Thank you.
While the game does have women with toxic traits like cass' alcoholism or Lieutenant Boyd's propensity for violence, these examples aren't too common. To be honest, the only example that I can think of as toxicity displayed by women that can be categorized as in-line within any domain of toxic femininity in the game is from Mad Maud's gang of exclusively female-driven violence.
I get you, buddy. For me, its sticking females in roles you wouldn't commonly find them in real life. Like with the NCR being 50% or more women, yet they are somehow -magically nowhere to be found- in the final battle. No army in real life is composed of that. Fallout 4 has plenty of that and then from what I heard, Starfield is overly riddled with that girl boss nonsense. That's why Caesar's Legion seems the most realistic to me in a setting and situation like that.
Nah, the Legion's full of cringe too. The soldiers are all like "mwahaha, I'm so evil, gonna go harass some women". I don't remember seeing any male captives there, only the poor, suffering, bullied sex slaves exploited by those evil chauvinistic pathetic manpigs. Whoever is going to feed all that horde is yet to be answered.
Deleting the "hired" conditions in the responses to dialogue options like telling her to show you her inventory via fnvedit finally made them show up ingame for me. Don't ask me why, I don't know, but this fixed all the missing dialogue options for me in my game.
Well I just loaded the mod with fnvedit, selected her, went into the dialogue tree, opened her responses and under the conditions section of each response (like the responses to "show me your inventory") I deleted the "hired" line. After that she worked as she sould, apparently the dialogue options didn't show up ingame because the responses where not valid (perhaps the "hired" condition isn't met regardless of the fact that you actually hired her, I dunno.
I also didn't encounter any bugs or wierd behaviour whatsoever after editing her that way.
I got a slight problem, the meshes of Melissa seem to conflict between the vanilla look and the NVR3R look, the "Melissa Companion - New Vegas Redesigned 3 (NVR3) Patch" kind of solves it, but half the legs and arms look vanilla and the other look like NVR3R version of Melissa.
Finally after days of searching, I figured out how to get rid of her dirty textures. Utilizing this Fallout 3 mod, I was able to give her a clean body, face, and even tattoos! For those of you trying to figure this out, all you need to do is download Dimionized Type3 female body mod manually, then add file in NMM and manually install it. It was super easy.
I use JIP CC&C and its inventory function doesn't work for her, either. Which... if we go anywhere near NCR with her dressed in Khan armor, is gonna be a Problem... lmao
EDIT: Un-checking CC&C's "Disable Companion Wheel" option fixed it.
Now to figure out why the "Mannequin Race Melissa Lewis Companion" Patch is being ignored.
TBH... I'm only getting this so that she'll stop getting killed by cazadores / deathclaws / whatever TF is killing her after "Don't Make A Beggar Of Me" and causing "Oh, My Papa" to fail. lmao

Does anyone have a fix?
Thanks
