I know this mod is old so I'm not expecting a response of any sort by the mod author, so this is merely a warning to anyone who uses RTS. I found a bug while using the NVEC mod which has this mod included. If you use Real Time Settler this will replace the glowing red of any objects you intend on spawning and leave a whole mess of Spotter Reticles. This can completely hinder your building so keep that in mind when you use this mod or the NVEC mod.
Think you could maybe set this to only mark enemies when zoomed in on them for a few seconds? Similar to how Far Cry does it, just to stop it from being overpowered.
That'd be cool. Although I don't know if there is anything in the GECK that allows it. I think a modder would need to apply a scripted icon to each and every NPC related to Vanilla quests.
This would be awesome, if it would only show on targets that have a clear line of sight to the player (or Boone, however you read the perk lore-wise).
Tested it with ED-E and the TAC spotter perk, and it basically works like a wallhack. I shot a few coyotes who were behind some shrubs, which i wouldn't have seen at all with the vanilla red overlay on their models. Also the screenshots here on the site also show how it reports exact target locations behind walls.
So in the current state, it is over the top for my taste. As mentioned, it would be a huge addition to Advanced Recon if it wouldn't reveal everything regardless of line of sight. Currently i only use the TAC for looting due to the conflict of TAC and the spotter perk(s).

I was wondering if you happen to have any other mods that might resemble of the following game attachments from Call of Duty and AVP?
Modern Warfare 2
heartbeat sensor
Aliens: Colonial Marines.
M314 Motion Tracker
Alien vs Predator 3
HUD Motion Tracker
Black Ops 2
millimeter scanner
Advanced Warfare
threat grenade
If so, think you could give something like that a shot? it'd be helpful
