I know I'm late, but it's always spelled Anti-Materiel Rifle, not because of this specific one being based off of a french model (that doesn't mean it IS the PGM Hecate II, it was simply based off of it and Millenia added the name on the side of the gun, which I personally dislike), but because materiel is military terminology for "military equipment."
Anti-materiel rifles are designed to damage and/or destroy military equipment, such as armored vehicles, which is why they use such large and powerful ammunition. If you ask me, the AMR should have the extra realistic effect of obliterating limbs, because that's essentially what it would do to someone's limb. (Being that it's made to destroy an armored vehicle, and not squishy human flesh.)
Yeah this is one of the oldest textures for FNV that wasn't retextured, so personally, I would probably start using retextured weapons if ALL weapons had such great textures. It would take a lot of work, obviously, but quality textures combined with specific mods and an ENB effect could make FNV look like FO4.
Hey Mil, great retexture as always... I had a question though. Any chance you could make a clean version for this? Minus all the rust spots all over the rifle? It seems weird to me that the most powerful piece of weaponry in the game would be all rusty and stuff, considering its such a great rifle they would wana take better care of it.
would it be possible for you to make a retexture for it to look like the original World War II, British "Boys" Anti-Tank rifle? I just cannot find a mod for that. It would be greatly appreciated.
Awesome retextures got em all thus far would like to see the GRA stuff done as they now seem so outta place. Keep up the great work.
@shdwborn his thumb is behind the bolt if you look, unlike most bolt rifles the handle is at the rear of the bolt instead of up near the front locking lugs. Also a bolt rifle dose not have a buffer system that is only found on automatic/semi automatic weapons.
