Nice, especially given the fact it's a superempty place when it comes to any kind of content, either vanilla or mod.

The only thing missing is a water source inside.

I downloaded this, really pleased that I found a player home that fits me perfect, and it almost does, except that ti's a raider home not a normal one, and there is no way to change that. I'm not going to download manually because I don't know how and want to easily see where all of my mods are, good effort but it's so annoying that there aren't two files to choose from. Guess I'll keep looking.

Not sure if this was posted before the last update of something, but just for the sake of some correct info, the mod at it is now has two files, one for the clean version and another for the raider one... you just have to uncheck / delete the one you dont want.

Really nice mod, one thing though how do you switch between normal home and raider home? because it randomly changes for me form time to time, witch is annoying as i lose everything when it changes.

there are 2 files in the download, if you installed it with the mod manager it installs both the normal and raider versions so that will probably be why, just manually download the file and put only the raider or normal version in the fnv data file.
      hope i helped

I was balls deep in making my tunnel home outside of Nipton but then I found this to get some inspiration on what I was doing and you have done a damn fine job. I just need to edit some things in the geck to make it just what I want but you my friend are good. Too bad NV only has 1 train tunnel interior to use when making this stuff.

IMHO, this is probably the most perfect housemod in the Mojave, done just exactly right. I also thought you'd used an existing tunnel for it. And the location is absolutely awesome. Well done!

Thanks for sharing this! This has become my favourite player home mod. I think these kinds of mods are some of the most subjective of all. That is, most subject to personal opinion. Me, I don't want to have an elaborate palace with all sorts of advanced features. I just want a cozy place to lay low, store supplies and work on my gear. A place that feels like its part of the wasteland. This fits the bill. I love the overall look and the location. It's pretty central, close to traders, and a lot more imaginative than the many Goodsprings homes...

Since you tend to notice the things out of place more so than the things that fit, here are some nitpicks. Keep in mind, these are not necessarily things I'm complaining about or which I want you to do something about, it's just information for its own sake. Glean from it what you will.

    * The crate outside near the campfire has Aqua Pura written on it, which is pretty odd. A generic container (crate or otherwise) would be more appropriate.

    * The open 24 hours sign swings in the breeze even though there's obviously no breeze. I know, you mentioned this in the known bugs. It still bugs me a little. I actually removed it in FNVEdit and I think it looks better without it.

    * Similarly, I personally would have preferred a simple, full-size fridge in place of the Sarsaparilla machine, that way it wouldn't be making little zapping sounds all the time. This is really unimportant though, it's more a passing thought than a suggestion.

    * The dark stain below the campfire outside looks appropriate enough normally, but a texture mod (either Enhanced Blood Textures or NMCs) changes that dark stain into a bloodstain, which looks pretty odd. What have I been doing at my campfire!? I guess it would fit with the raider version.

    * I personally prefer the containers to have generic names "Safe", "Locker", "Metal Box" etc. and decide for myself what goes where. That's a purely subjective note though.

    * Another very subjective one... I'm always modding to make the game's economy harder so it's not so trivial to become rich, right? Well, while it's certainly not as extravagant as many other house mods, I thought the tunnel house had a few too many high-powered items and freebies. Chiefly the infirmary and chemistry set. They're fun, but extremely overpowered since they don't require any ingredients or supplies, and don't even need to be purchased to be available.

Besides those and perhaps the deathclaw egg, the only other item I have an issue with is the unique LMG. I like its positioning in front of the "Make Love, Not War" wall, but besides being a powerful weapon in perfect condition, it's also worth somewhere in the neighbourhood of 6,000 caps, that's a pretty valuable item to get for nothing. If it were me I'd have put a BB Gun there, for laughs.

    * Finally, I think a great addition to any house mod is a believable means of obtaining it, beyond simply stumbling across it and claiming it as your own. Ideally, this could be integrated into the game somehow. Receiving a key to the house as a quest reward. Taking the key from an NPC who lived there previously, perhaps. Or, to keep it real simple, the key could be hidden somewhere nearby (perhaps in that mysterious duffle bag of valuables at the top of a ramp a short walk east of the house?).

Wow, I rave on and on. I don't seriously expect you to come along and make any changes at this point, but those are my thoughts and I felt like expressing them, so... there you go.

    Thanks again for making this!
