That's how I employed it, think I was around level 10 or 11 when I started using it. Not sure if that's advised. It might have caused an issue with auto-stimpacks not recognising my lower base health (i.e. they wouldn't kick in soon enough), but not sure if this mod was to blame as it was my first TTW playthrough. And by levels 20-something with a higher base health that was less of an issue anyway.
The low version is perfect for me, in TTW 3.2.2. Thanks. I don't consider myself uber at this game but was finding TTW on hard settings far too easy. I had gone with a strong-ish character with energy weapons-ish build, found a laser rifle and buried all my caps into it's upgrades, only to find I'd created a monster by level 10. I could mow down whole gangs of Super Mutants at a go! So I upped the difficulty to very hard, and then ditched my gamey backpack, but still not too much of a challenge. Then I found your mod and installed the low version, and find that it's giving me about 60% of vanilla health and means I actually have to pay a lot of attention in a fight, at least when outnumbered. Endorsed.
Thank you for your report. I'm using TTW 3.2.2 with BLEED and AWOP. Without this hp overhaul, Raiders are gun fodders (3-5 shots), while supermutants take 2-3 full magazines point blank to go down each. PC is too durable as well, it is as though he's supermutant.
Glad you found it useful! Yes I'm using AWOP too, but not yet tried BLEED. Overall I've found TTW way too easy compared to my two previous FO3 (normal, hard) playthroughs... But anyway, the only issue I've noted that MIGHT be relevant to this mod is the use of auto-stimpacks, which may not work (as they claim) on a straight % of HP but instead on a simple HP deduction from the original vanilla HP(??) though by level 30 and a resultantly higher HP anyway it's not really an issue. What I also went on to do was download fiftytifty's More Spawns from the TTW website - https://taleoftwowastelands.com/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=6678
Try as I might, this mod gives me only 2 health per level up with no benefit from Endurance. Tested this with my current character and started a new character, to no avail. I think I can fix this myself via GECK I just do not know where the entry for health gain is. Could you direct me to it?
Checked twice, neither version lists these two perks you mentioned in GECK. :/ FNVEdit shows a script for health gain for each Endurance value but I have no idea how to know that the script is fired on level up.
Ah, sorry, my bad. I forgot that I altered it a bit. The version that is uploaded on Nexus doesn't use Perks.
Ok. This script simply changes the value of fAVDHealthLevelMult in Game Settings via script. This GMST (Game Setting) determines how much Health you gain per level. That's all. But the mod uses NVSE, so the reason it doesn't work for you is most likely, because you don't have NVSE installed.
You can get the NVSE here: http://nvse.silverlock.org/
Sorry, forget the previous reply, I had totally forgotten that for some testing I had it uninstalled and totally forgot to reinstall it. Now it works fine. Thanks for your time mate.
I don't need the free hype I was giving you the link to see I was promoting your mod. You're welcome for me posting your mods link on my mod site. My mod is doing better than yours so why would I need the little hype from your mod. I was trying to help you out. Hence I hope you didn't mind me sharing a link for your mod on mines. I understand if I put it on one of your other mods with higher ratings then mine. Then that would be free hype.
