I am glad you got it sorta working, stretching/deforming can happen I have that problem with the glasses I released. Editing the fallout numbers can sometimes help.
works good, but not perfect. i made a Army Cap with a Sun Shield on the front (no idea what the correct name is in english^^). i've noticed if my character (male) has a ugly face, similar to my avatar or a tough and masculine face/head, at the shield are some ugly deformations after. has the character a smooth, feminine and pretty cakehole, then less :-)
but it will work out all right. i have a Army Cap Collection in planning you know!
.egms are not solve all problem kinda things, they can only stretch a certain amount. If they are to small for a head to begin with they wont work at all. Try resizeing the hat in blender to get it fitting better, also it does not take into account Hair so it may clip through that no matter what.
the "MODD - FaceGen Model Flags" line was empty. i clicked on "add" and "Edit Value" with many nulls appeared, then i changed it to "1". now the Hat was located at the right shoulder of my char, but i rotated the Hat in skope to the correct position and tested again ingame. nice, the Hat was on the correct position, but the fckng head of this bastard (my character) looks through the Hat once again....i go mad^^ what the hell am i doing wrong?!
@NiNode the NiNode in my nif is called "Scene Root"
edit:
now it works a little....i think the Cap is a bit to small, the forhead looks through, but i can see the sun shield is deformed. not beautiful, but a little progress....i will refresh that s#*! instantly.
There is no magic update button you have to do it manually in FNVE
"So I opened my mod up in FNVEdit, click on the headwear giveing you the trouble and change the line under Male(female if your doing girl only stuff) biped model
MODD FaceGen model flags it will say somthing like add do so then change it to 1. Which works but causes the hats to flip about... so then I did this. Now nifskope make sure the nifs are set up by nameing the NiNode Scene Root. "
