Same for 6700. New vegas anti crash made it so i could actually start/load the game. But it was like 10 fps and doc mitchel had no hair. Now Doc has hair and it seems to run smoothly. From some other threads I've read the latest AMD drivers freak out about the hair and face generation in new vegas. Crazy how a now 14 year old .dll still works :)
Hey my game keeps crashing at half memory use im using intel 4400 and the nvidia 88000GS has given me better fps and clarity but it hasn't fixed this i need help this s#*! is depressing.

this mod is just a mod that lower graphic setting, lmao, i did some testing where thorn is the most demanding place in fallout new vegas, it still has frame drops same without the dll file, (this part the dll change my setting to high, so change it back to ultra) so this mod doesnt work and dont believe what people said in here
i find it hillarious, people said oh, this mod improve my performance and some people said oh this mod lower my performance, well it lower your setting if you use ultra, if you use medium, then this file will change setting to High, smh man
since the mod was released 12 years ago, so ive zero complaint abt it, the problem is, people in here keep saying it worked without knowing what it actually does
I just successfully used this for my RX 6700 XT. I was running the Viva Las Vegas modpack, you know the one with all those fixes and performance optimizations, and it was still running horribly in areas with lots of NPCs.
This totally fixed it! From crazy FPS drops down to 5 to perfectly smooth throughout. Thanks!
Skyrim was using my default Intel card instead of my gaming NVIDIA card. This was the only thing that fixed it, thanks so much! My Intel card can't handle Skyrim, so I thought I wasn't going to be able to play anymore.
I probably wont get a reply to this since this is so old but, I've been really wanting to get a fix for my new vegas stuttering issues and this seemed to have fixed that. The only problem I'm having is the grass and bushes and plants or whatever are all low res and I want a fix for this.
