Trying with with TTW, does it take 30 minutes to work? It seems to not work right away

Using the Triple rates and loving it so far, endorsed! As @SirWalrusTusk says using this with Bottle That Water works very well

The refined custom rates are great.  This is a game changer in more ways than one.  It makes me care about and use the survival skill, since it now allows me to survive better off the fat of the land in order to better manage inventory weight, and it makes me actually carry and use the "Roughin' it! bedroll kit."

This turns a mode that is laughably called hardcore into something that truly reflects the title.

Thank you kindly Machienzo, God Bless.

Playing at 400% increase (with 'Bottle That Water' mod, cause I'm not a complete sadist). I'm enjoying this setting the most so far, as although vanilla and 200% mean far less inventory management, there was never a time when I was truly worried about where my next meal was coming from, when I might be able to sleep, etc. Thanks for sharing this mod :)

Same! though Ive been using the authors custom settings. I used to use PN rebalance but Ive moved away from that because it was a bit too heavy and replaced its various features with smaller, lighter mods like this. Impressive the difference a lightweight, 10 year old mod can make to a playthrough, actually have to plan ahead and bring food and water rations when I leave base now.

You should try it with mods that let you adjust the spawn rates of supplies >:)

Your other needs - hunger, thirst - also increase whilst asleep. Think about how long your character should ACTUALLY be asleep for.

Are you using a timescale mod? Time spent resting/waiting doesn't scale properly which means if you're playing a reduced timescale needs drain faster.

Example if you're playing at 1:1 timescale instead of the default 1:30 your need rates are being multiplied by 30 when waiting/resting.

I really like the refined rates. Sleep probably still isn't aggressive enough to be realistic, but it's a lot better than the "sleep 4 hours every 2 days in order to not die" of vanilla hardcore.

    Yeah! Thanks!
    Works great!
Just took some time (about 30 min ingame) to kick in.

When playing with the Hardcore mode it quickly hit me just how ridiculously slow the rates were. After using iNeed for Skyrim I expected the need to eat at least 3 times a day, drink water more than that and sleep almost every day.

@ kidchaos thx btw for listing your edits.
i used pmt's more hardcore mod but sleep deprivation (25) was to slow and dehydration (6) maybe a bit to fast.
so i took for sleep 10.000000 for hopefully about 4 days till death,
    starvation also 12.000000
and dehydration 8.000000 (im using "bottle that water"! great mod btw).
now im testing and if i change sth ill edit and report.
    mike

edit: works perfectly fine. maybe some day ill do some finetuning - till then i can just recommend the settings to you!
