I'm playing TTW with a start in fallout 3. I don't have the pedometer as an item but have the option for the perks. Does anyone know how to give yourself the item so the sprinting works?
Yes I second this. I don't understand why no one else is asking this question! Not everyone wants to play with Keyboard all the time!
UPDATE: Hey man so I found a solution to the problem if you are still interested. Download a program called "AntiMicro" and when you open it you can set the left stick click to shift and save it in your files and when you open the game left click on controller should be shift on keyboard and you can sprint using controller. You do have to hold down the left click on controller while sprinting but it's better than nothing. You also don't have to assign left click to shift you can assign whatever controller key you want to whatever key you use in game for sprinting. I will put a link to the download below for you, it's free too by the way.
You can also use steams controller setting, press alt+tab goto controller and enable if not already enabled and edit buttons you can set it to shift and it will only be for FNV no need to download a third party program.
If you start with "Fallout New California", You won't get the speedometer until you meet Doc Mitchell in Goodsprings. (I.E. vanilla game start.) You can still get the perks with leveling however.
"SPOILER ALLERT" When choosing to fight Benny in the cage fight because all your items are removed I'm guessing it removes the Speedometer as well, so since then I can't sprint. If I go back to a save literally right before the cage fight I can sprint no problem yet the second after it I can't anymore even tho all the rest of my items are returned. I could just not fight benny in the cage but it's still just annoying that this happens, are there any other situations later on in the game where your inventory is removed? because if so then that will really suck. I tried reinstalling the mod after the fight yet it still didn't work, the only solution was to go back to my save before the fight.
I had no issue, just put it in data folder and tick it off in the launcher, works like a charm (just had to mess with the controls a bit, but no real issue)
