Permissions and credits
This Hak Pack is a developer resource that provides a set of placeables for use in the Neverwinter Nights 2 (NWN2) toolset. The general theme is one of artisanship and engineering, with particular emphasis on the trades of brewing, blacksmithing, and masonry. There are bridges, guard towers, walls, ramps, pillars, statuettes, hand carts, and so forth.

In addition to the contributions by the author, this set incorporates elements of the following Neverwinter Nights hak packs, which have been ported over to NWN2 format:
  • Dwarven Halls by JDA
  • Mops by The Amethyst Dragon
  • Field War Hospital by the CC Makers
  • Gold Statues by Borden Ha'elven
A big thanks go to these authors for their fine work!

Releases
  • 1.4: Fixed some smoothing issues on three models in the gate set.
  • 1.3:  Replaced all TGA files with DDS equivalent, reducing the download size by nearly half. Addressed a few issues with high specularity strength and adjusted the normal maps. Added LoD parts to the models where it could be implemented cleanly.
  • 1.2: The Projected Texture setting has been configured on the walkable surfaces of placeables that can be traversed. It now properly shows, for example, the movement target circle on the bridges.
  • 1.1: The Crystal placeable is now tintable; a sideways rotated version of the Crystal is included; the two bridge column placeables have been added that can be used to extend the bridge bases; the top surfaces of two pillars (01 & 05) and the tops of all the wall pieces have been made tintable so that they can be turned black.
  • 1.0: Initial release.

  • Select Add.
  • Click on the FileName field and select the dwarf_hold.hak
  • Click on Okay then select Import... from the File menu.
  • Open the dwarf_hold.erf file.

There should now be a "DWARF HOLD" entry under the Placeables Blueprints.
