Problem. Upon exiting the River Caves. The way off the map has vanished. At first I thought I may have messed up on where it is, but I have covered every square inch of the map and it isn't there!
Okay, I figured out the problem. In the initial battle with the Orc Scouts I cast an area effect spell which destroyed the Marker Stone. You might seriously want to make these items indestructible if you do another update. Great Module so far though.
Hey PJ156, playing through this now as part of the campaign "Tales from the Lake of Sorrows" - I'm trying to find Simon Landry and everyone keeps pointing me to Isla, problem is she's not in Lakeside? Is this intended?

If you have completed the apprentice quest she will be at the wagoners Inn. Either by the horse at the far end of the area, speaking to Meredith the merchant/mage, outside the inn with the Halfling or inside the common room (nice part) during the evening depending on the time of day.
If you have not completed her apprentice quest then she will be:
Morning - market Afternoon - playing behind the inn. Evening - Eating in the inn. Late evening - Playing flute by her box. Night - asleep in her box.
If you have lost her completely, post here and I will help.
That's not the solution I think. This is going to be another issue and I cannot directly see what it might be. He conversation is critical to the progression of this mod so we nee to make her appear somehow.

Have you done the three inns yet? That must happen before she will move you forward. If you have then wait a short while and I will redirect her conversation on a placeholder npc so you can speak with her to move you forward. Moving in and out of lakeside may well force her to appear.
The scripts that control the npcs can be flaky but i have never had one disappear completely before
Unzip this and put the files in the campaign folder. Talk to Beth and ask her nicely then a new Isla will spawn by the sun dial and stay there. Should the old one turn up you won't have any problems. She wont disappear when you complete the apprentice quest.
Tell me if this works, I need to know you are able to get on.
PJ! She came back after I applied your fix! All I did was speak to Beth, asked her about Simon, go outside (was night at the time), waited 8 hours total, then Isla appeared in town! Spoke to her and finally could continue the quest. You're a life-saver mate This mod was made over a year ago and you're still helping people. Kudos to you and great work on such an awesome mod.
P.S. a turd is still a turd. hahahaha was so worth it just for the new quest name!
A few hours into this right now. Great mod so far. A nice continuation after finishing sheep and stone. One question though, how do I get to the woods near Parsons farm where the spiders are supposed to be? I thought I remember seeing and area transition option to it earlier, but is seems to be gone now. Thanks.
Thanks for reply. No, it is the transition to Parsons farm itself from Lakeside that is not available. I did not go there yet, but the option seems to have disappeared. The only places to travel to now from the signpost in Lakeside is Mielikki Temple, The Waggoners Inn and the river cave(in which I am missing a key I need). Anyway thanks again.
Managed to post it here. Put this conversation file into your campaign folder and you should be able to get to the farm area.
Sorry for the issue. I guessed you progressed the module beyond the upper limit on the transition. I did not think that was possible but then I am always surprised by the ways people play my work and the ways they find to test it

This is something I can fix in this one if I get round to updating but it is certainly fixed in the campaign version as the whole area was rebuilt.

There's no area transition, you can walk into the woods as far as you need to go. The z key will give a hint on direction.
